The Dragon Is Spewing Fire Again
Remember my visit to the Thow Kwang Dragon Kiln last year? Well, I have good news for you - the dragon is spewing fire again!
Seize this rare opportunity to witness another firing this National Day weekend, i.e. 7th-9th August 2009. You can check out the firing schedule here. I've got reliable "inside info" that the best part of the firing is on Saturday night (8th) when they open the stoke holes. Hope you will not pass up this chance - you'll never know when the dragon spews fire (if ever) again. As a bonus, you can also do some firefly watching at the shrubs nearby. Admission is free. What more can you ask for? Alright, maybe a free map as well?

victor, only fireflies? got other things flying low in the shrubs? that area has quite a lot of mosquitoes.
YG, this is a package tour. No optional bites.
victor, today, i drove to thow kwan pottery. i have been to the place a few times. in fact, i have blogged about this place here in march 2006. no mosquito bit me this time. i like this place because even if you go after closing time (5 p.m.), they don't chase you away; they will still serve you.
YG, I think there's no corner in Singapore, however remote, that you've not been too. Have to seriously consider banning you from participating in my future Old Singapore Quizes.
