Second Best Christmas Gift Ever

I blogged about a funny sms I received before.

On Christmas eve at about 12.20 pm, I received this SMS:

My reply was:

Still not knowing what I meant, she responded:

I think she meant "What no show?" because the SITEX IT show was over. So I replied:

This time she got it:

I responded and couldn't resist doing some advertising:

The advertising worked! She promised to check my blog out:

Celine, are you reading this? My colleague said that I should have asked for your address first so that I could just gatecrash the party. Then it would have been my second best Christmas gift ever. (My first is here.) Haha.

GNE - Hahaha, that's called shameless advertising.

I just realised what Celine meant by "What no it show" - it is "What number did it show?"

Haha, of course her number what.

Kopi Soh - I wish I have skin as thick as that. Haha.

Recently, there was a restaurant in Singapore's business district which was raising funds for charity. It offered lunch to people who could then "pay what they like". All proceeds would go to charity. Some paid S$2 while some others didn't even pay anything.

Hahaha! Victor, this kind of thing only seems to happen to you.

Yes, that restaurant is called Geek Terminal.

they say when you get a second, you will also get a third - in your case, a third unexpected sms and a third Best Christmas Gift

Kenneth - I smsed Celine again and cheekily asked her if she was still using the good old-fashioned pen-and-paper method of recording contact numbers instead of saving them in the phone's address book or worse, in her own memory. She explained that she just got a new phone and had not found a method to transfer her contacts to the new phone yet. Hmm... now if that is the case, then such a thing can happen to anyone, right? Haha.

Hahha...you tend to receive strange SMSes hor..?

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you!

Tigerfish - Hmm... maybe that's because no 2 digits of my 8-digit tel. no. are the same - only the digits 4 and 6 are missing. So it is not so easy to memorize my number.

Wishing you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year too.
